Case Studies: Gymnasiums

Challenge
As a busy health and fitness centre Syndale Park (www.syndalepark.com)
had a great deal of information to try keep track of
from bookings on all their various rooms members of
staff and equipment to staff rotas and information
on appointments. They wanted their staff to be able
to log onto the system from anywhere and have access
to shared files and announcement message boards.
Solution
CohereIT
configured CohereMail
so a separate calendar was shared between all
members of staff for every bookable resource
including squash rooms, personal trainers &
solariums. These calendars were then colour coded to
allow staff to check the availability at a glance.
We created additional calendars to allow Syndale to
track when their members memberships are due to
expire and implemented task lists.

suggested a training program to sit alongside the
deployment of CohereMail
so staff didn't lose any time learning how to use
their new system.
Results
Since starting to use CohereMail
Syndale Park have been able to deal with phone calls
and enquiries much more efficiently. Staff can see
what appointments they have the next day from home
worrying about the risk of double bookings is a
thing of the past. Because CohereIT
highlighted early on the busy nature of the Syndale
Park team and made a point of ensuring all members
of staff were trained they had access all the
functionality at an early stage and could started
benefiting from the time savings immediately.
